What Changed
The Student visa (subclass 500) is for participation in an eligible course of study. The Department's application guidance identifies core preparation areas including a Confirmation of Enrolment, Genuine Student responses and supporting evidence, Overseas Student Health Cover, identity documents, and any requested English, financial, health or character evidence.
The exact documents depend on the applicant and course. The Department's Document Checklist Tool and the current subclass 500 application steps should be checked immediately before lodgement.
